Step Two: Have dog sit near you.
Step Three: Open dogs mouth, as shown.
Step Four: Put treat in mouth.
Step Five: Remove fingers.
Goal: For dog to allow you to open his or her mouth easily and for you to feel confident doing so.
Only you know if this is safe for you to do with your dog. If it is not, please seek immediate hands on help from a dog professional. This should not be difficult or scary for either of you!

Wow, this is a very helpful video! We need to be in the habit of teeth brushing with our pups and this technique will help. Especially the instructions on where to place finger behind canine tooth. Thank you.
