Relationship Games – Foundation and Beyond
AM – 10 – 1
Fee: $95.-
FULL - Please Join the Wait List - you might get it.
This is for teams for don’t yet know the My Smart Puppy games or have trained them on their own. We’ll go over the basics and then move you as far as each team is ready to go. Our small classes allow for individual coaching throughout as we (can- delete) “teach to fit”. You’ll learn the importance of and proper use of “space” in your day-to-day interaction with your dogs(,) as well as how to use (the application and release of) pressure (delete-and release of pressure) to get mental control over your dog. Because, after all, where the mind goes, the body is sure to follow.
Consistent Come and Gracious Greetings Combination
PM – 2:30 – 5:30
Fee: $95.
FULL - Please Join the Wait List - you might get it.
Coming when called and greeting people and other dogs calmly are two of the most challenging behaviors for most beginner teams to: a) develop and, b) practice productively consequently, we decided to combine the two. You’ll develop a plan and then get a chance to practice that plan so both you and your dog get the hang of doing it well. (PS: Lots of fun, too.)
June 14 & 15 - at Sendaishi Pet Resort

Saturday
Dancing the Dance
AM – 10 – 1
Fee: $95.-
FULL - Please Join the Wait List - you might get it.
Sssshhhh – we’re training here. In this seminar, we work our dogs using spatial, situational, and sensation cues rather than with sound. The only words you’ll hear will be enthusiastic praise! The goal is to make you more aware of your handling and to clear up any confusions between you and your dog. You’ll also learn to work with a deep calm, allowing you to have a much greater ability to concentrate on your dog and your work. This is an excellent foundation for the rest of the weekend and for the rest of your life with your dog.
Dealing with Distraction
PM – 2:30 – 5:30
Fee: $95.-
FULL - Please Join the Wait List - you might get it.
This is the root of the matter isn’t? All our dogs are stars in the livingroom or a quiet parking lot – it’s around distractions that things get a bit hairy. So, why not do an entire session just on teaching you ways of dealing with what life throws at you? We will give you the tools to have more confidence and success on the street, at the park or in other classes. You’ll leave feeling better prepared to deal with real life and have fun doing so.
Sunday
Walking the Walk
AM – 10 – 1
Fee: $95.-
FULL - Please Join the Wait List - you might get it.
Walking on a loose lead – one of the “holy grails” for many teams – is addressed here. Useful for real life and for competition, learn how to put yourself in the driver’s seat and stay there, learn how to create a dog who begs to be allowed into that wonderful spot by your side, stop the frustration and begin having fun! This entire seminar is aimed at heading you toward off-lead control and connection. Each team will work at their own level and speed.
You’re Call
PM – 2:30 – 5:30
Fee: $95.-
FULL - Please Join the Wait List - you might get it.
In this last session of the weekend, we’ll take requests. These can be sent to me at anytime up to end of the day Saturday. We will address 2-3 challenges per team though I also include my ideas about what exercises that will benefit specific teams and give you exercises and games to work on at home for continued success.
